About me
I am an Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in mathematics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
I obtained my PhD at the Universidad de Extremadura in 2023, under the supervision of Profs. F. Cabello Sánchez and J. M. F. Castillo. I served there as an Interim Assistant Professor (Profesor Sustituto) until 2024, when I moved to Madrid to take up my current position.
Research interests
My research focuses mainly on functional analysis, with a particular emphasis on Banach spaces and Banach lattices, although connections to other areas of mathematics are frequent. I am part of the Banach Lattice research group in Madrid.
My main lines of work include:
- Spaces of continuous functions in compact spaces and its interactions with set theory, topology and combinatorics.
- Categorical and homological methods applied to Banach space theory.
- Quasi-Banach spaces and quasi-Banach lattices.
- Complex interpolation with application to Fourier multipliers.
Some keywords are: C(K)-spaces, almost disjoint families, polyhedral spaces, complemented subspaces, twisted sums, exact sequences, free Banach lattices, analytic families, unimodular multipliers.
